What You'll Do as a
Engineering Technician:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systemsRepair and optimize existing door systems while supporting new product development projectsCreate and update detailed mechanical drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD softwareConduct engineering tests to verify system functionality, performance, and reliabilityRead and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsCollaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve designs and manufacturing processesDocument troubleshooting activities, test results, and project outcomes accurately What You Need to Bring to the

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or related field preferredManufacturing experience preferredPLC/HMI troubleshooting experience preferredAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skillsBasic computer networking knowledge preferredAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work in both office and production environmentsReliable attendance and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for troubleshooting and documentation#DohertyNewCareer#
