Looking for a job where you're actually making something? A Kearney manufacturer is adding to its assembly team and this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, tools and learning new skills. Starting pay is $17/hour with THREE performance reviews during your first year giving you the opportunity to earn up to an additional $1.05/hour and potentially more for outstanding performance. You'll work Monday through Friday from 8 AM-5 PM assembling under-cabinet lighting. Your day will include working with small components and wiring, stripping wires, assembling light fixtures, attaching end caps and learning to operate equipment such as drills, saws and a punch press. No weekends. Steady daytime hours. Temp-to-hire potential. To be successful, you'll need to: Be comfortable working with your hands and tools Read a tape measure accurately Pay close attention to detail Have dependable attendance Be willing to learn new equipment Have a high school diploma or GED Safety shoes are required and must have a steel or composite toe, a minimum 4-inch upper and puncture and slip-resistant soles.
