This individual will support operations at an automated distribution facility and will serve as the technical lead for automation and controls systems while providing day-to-day leadership to maintenance technicians supporting the site's material handling equipment. Experience supporting automated equipment, material handling systems, manufacturing equipment, or distribution center automation. Working knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation. Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, sensors, motors, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial communication networks. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing operation with high uptime expectations. Experience in material handling, warehouse automation, distribution centers, or fulfillment operations. Previous experience supporting conveyor systems, sortation equipment, ASRS, automated packaging equipment, or robotics. Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, or similar systems. Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, or other industrial communication networks. Technical degree, military technical training, or equivalent automation/controls experience.
