Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and smart home solutions? Do you enjoy hands-on work and creating seamless automation experiences? We're looking for a Low Voltage Home Automation Technician to join our team and bring state-of-the-art systems to life.
Role Overview:
As a Home Automation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems for residential and commercial clients. From smart lighting to home theaters, you'll play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Pre-wire, install, and terminate cables for home automation systems, including AV distribution, IP CCTV, intercoms, access control, and other low voltage solutions.
Configuration and Programming:
Familiarity with programming smart devices and control systems, such as Control4, Savant, or Crestron.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware, software, and network integration.
Customer Interaction:
Educate clients on system functionality and provide ongoing support as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations and system configurations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years of documented hands-on experience in low voltage systems, particularly home automation.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with smart home platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Nest). Understanding of networking basics, including IP addressing, subnets and Wi-Fi setup. Proficient in using power tools, testers, and diagnostic equipment. Certifications (Preferred): Control4 or other home automation certifications.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent English communication skills for working with clients and team members.
