Job Description

Job Overview Automation Technicians produce high quality dimensionally polished parts via processing through an automated robotic polishing cell. In addition to this, technicians will also inspect parts and review inspection data utilizing Keyence Blue light scanning technology as well as performing part marking operations. Technicians will learn and grow to be accomplished within the TMP principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and high-quality culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. The Automation Technicians will report to the Production Manager. Additional tasks will be assigned from time to time as needed to meet Turbo Machined Products customer's needs. Turbo Machined Products to assign and coordinate working hours to meet on time deliveries, including shift changes when necessary. Responsibilities Operate robotic polishing cell to ensure continuous safe use with minimal downtime while maintaining the production of high-quality blueprint parts; Routine daily maintenance of polishing cell including cleaning, robot warmup, tool changeover & replacement; Providing feedback and open communication to engineering on process control and parameters; Operate Keyence Bluelight scanner, and review inspection data to determine process control of prior operations; Perform part marking operations on multiple part numbers ensuring quality, legibility and accurate traceability; Routine maintenance of Keyence blue light scanner, and part marking equipment; Ensure safe working practices are carried out to minimize risks to the job holder and/or colleagues, including identifying and reporting Safety, Health & Environmental issues; Follow Good Manufacturing and Good Document Practices at all times including completion of job routers/ cards; Identify and escalate manufacturing issues to the Supervisor, participating in the resolution as required; Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards within work area; Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor; Requirements Safely ascend and descend Step ladders, stairs and ramps. Remain in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time up to approximately 2 hours. Move about to accomplish tasks and move from one work area to another. Constantly repeating motions that include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Perform light physical work that includes the ability to adjust and move objects up to 40 lbs. Pay:
$21.00 - $27.00 per hour
