Key Responsibilities Assembly & Installation:
Build, wire, and integrate electronic components, circuit boards, and systems using schematics and technical blueprints.
Diagnostics & Repair:
Troubleshoot system failures using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to repair or replace faulty components.
Testing & Calibration:
Perform regular testing and precision calibration to ensure all devices meet performance and quality standards.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime and extend equipment life.
Documentation:
Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance logs, system updates, and inventory tracking.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow industry safety standards (ESD protection, OSHA) and standard soldering practices (IPC standards). Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, equivalent hands-on experience, or background as an Electronic Assembler / Jr. Technician. Ability to read (or learn to read) electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Basic to advanced experience with diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters) and soldering/desoldering techniques. Troubleshooting mindset, eagerness to learn, and high attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to keep organized records. Log all repairs, modifications, test results, and parts inventory accurately.
Maintain Safety & Standards:
Follow strict ESD protection, OSHA safety rules, and IPC soldering standards at all times.
