Join Our Maintenance Team BleachTech is looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, and keeping critical plant equipment operating safely and reliably. The E&I Technician installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, repairs, and tests electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems. Install, configure, commission, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment. Calibrate instrumentation and ensure equipment is operating accurately and reliably. Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, VFDs, controls, and automation systems . Work with PLC programming and ladder logic. Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems. Inspect and test transformers, transfer switches, switchgear, and other electrical components. Perform low- and medium-voltage electrical checks. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and manufacturer manuals . Support preventive maintenance programs and planned plant shutdowns. Maintain accurate maintenance records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Work with contractors and vendors as needed to support plant maintenance and reliability.
What We're Looking For Required:
High school diploma or
GED. 3-5
years of electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or process environment. Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems. Experience with PLC programming, controls, automation, AC/DC drives, and VFDs. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Familiarity with electrical codes, electrical safety, and Arc Flash requirements. Basic computer skills and experience with a CMMS or similar maintenance system.
Preferred:
Technical degree, apprenticeship, or trade certification in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field . Additional electrical or instrumentation certifications. Experience with ISO calibration procedures and high-voltage safety practices. Strong communication and teamwork are important, along with the ability to respond quickly when equipment issues impact plant operations.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
