Field Technician EquipmentShare - USA Allentown, PA Job Details $19.50 - $42.00 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Equipment service recordkeeping Monitoring machines Field service equipment repair Engineering equipment malfunctions diagnostics On-site technical support Equipment safety procedures Defect resolution root cause analysis Vehicle cleanliness maintenance Defect analysis Electrical work Mid-level Maintenance schedule management Company vehicle operation Maintenance activity documentation Corrective maintenance Hydraulic system maintenance Electrical equipment corrective maintenance Electrical maintenance Training delivery Failure analysis Mechanical systems repair Mobile devices Full Job Description As a Field Technician, you'll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder. Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
Field Mechanic:
When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner Year-round company provided OEM training Other duties, assigned as needed
