A rapidly expanding JLG and Genie refurbishing facility in the Philadelphia surrounding area is looking for an experienced Class A Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. In our full repair shop, candidates will be expected to maintain and repair medium sized construction equipment such as JLG, Genie, Skyjack equipment with job duties consisting of:

• Repair and diagnostics of lifts and other similar equipment
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and sensor issues on aerial lifts and other similar equipment in the shop.
• Repair and maintenance of engines, motors, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Trouble shooting and repairing various equipment electronics
• Troubleshoot and repair powertrains
• Using computer diagnostic programs
• Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals.
• Performance of routine maintenance requirements on all aerial platform systems
• Mechanical Inspections
• Prepare proper documentation of inspection reports and steps to resolve.

Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked on equipment such as boom lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, skid steers, etc. Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and repair skills are an asset for this position. Candidates are expected to have a full tool set.

Compensation:

Up to $40 per hour. Range offered depends on previous experience and training. Full benefit package including paid time off, sick and personal days, health, dental and 401K.

• Hydraulic & Electrical Systems:

  Diagnose and repair powertrains, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.

• Troubleshooting:

  Use computer diagnostic programs to accurately identify issues.

• Manual Interpretation:

  Read and interpret operating manuals to ensure all repairs and inspections meet safety and operational standards.

• Documentation:

  Prepare detailed inspection reports and document steps taken to resolve issues.

Mechanical Inspections:

Perform thorough mechanical inspections to ensure equipment is fully functional and safe to use.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with aerial lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, skid steers, or similar equipment.
• Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
