Schedule:

Vacation time:

Receive 1 week after 90 days, 2 weeks after 3 years & 3 weeks after 5 years. What will you be doing? We are seeking an experienced Fiber Splicer to install, splice, test, maintain, and repair fiber optic and telecommunications cable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Splice fiber optic and telecommunications cables. Test and troubleshoot connections to ensure quality and reliability. Install, maintain, and repair existing fiber optic systems. Document splicing work, measurements, and test results. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents. Work with team members and engineers to meet project specifications. Provide on-site support during installations and upgrades. Follow all safety procedures and industry standards. Maintain tools and splicing equipment. Train and assist less experienced technicians as needed. What are the Job Requirements? 3-5 years of fiber optic splicing and installation experience preferred. Knowledge of telecommunications standards and fiber optic systems. Experience using fiber optic splicing equipment and testing tools. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. High school diploma or equivalent. Fiber optic, telecommunications, or related certification preferred.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license & Must pass required drug testing.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
