Job Description:
Job Overview The Electrical Technician installs, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical systems, equipment, and components in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical theory, safety standards, and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, motors, and control circuits Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), OSHA, and local safety regulations Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues Document maintenance activities, test results, and work orders accurately Support installation of new equipment and facility upgrades Maintain and calibrate sensors, PLCs, drives, and automation component Technical Skills Proficiency in AC/DC circuits, motor control, and power distribution Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Familiarity with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) Knowledge of conduit installation and cable management Low-voltage wiring and instrumentation experience Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset Ability to work independently and in team settings Clear verbal and written communication skills Adaptability in fast-paced environments What your background should look like Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent required.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $44,100 -$66,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
