Automation Technician - Entry Level $25/hr 1st Shift Job Description Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on automation equipment and production cells. Set up and change over robotics, automation cells, lining machines, assembly machines, grinders, loaders, conveyors, cameras, and other equipment. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues with automated equipment. Assist with grinder and material loading operations. Follow scheduled PM programs and maintain accurate maintenance records. Follow verbal and written instructions for equipment setup and changeovers. Use basic knowledge of safety circuits, overload circuits, and machine troubleshooting. Use hand tools and fabrication equipment such as lathes, grinders, panel saws, shears, and brakes. Perform basic fabrication using Lexan, metals, and alloys. Follow proper safety, MSDS, GMP, and housekeeping procedures. Keep work areas, aisles, and walkways clean, safe, and organized. Perform other duties as needed based on skills and production needs. Requirements Vocational school certificate or equivalent experience. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems on automated equipment. Competent with hand tools. #
