Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve simple mechanical and operational issues. Replace worn or damaged mechanical components as needed. Respond to machine alarms by following established procedures and escalating issues when necessary. Perform machine changeovers and adjustments according to production schedules. Maintain accurate production and maintenance records. Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to use common hand tools and basic measuring devices. Ability to read and follow work instructions and equipment manuals. Willingness to learn automated equipment operation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Preferred Experience Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment. Mechanical maintenance or machine operation experience. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing environment requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on production needs.
