Location:
Coppell, Texas Pay:
$17-$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level About the Position We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Entry-Level Electronics Repair Technician to assist our lead technician with circuit board repairs, electronics handling, order fulfillment, and shipping. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced electronics repair environment where quality, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, takes initiative, and is eager to learn new technical skills. Previous electronics repair experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to improve. This position offers an opportunity to develop practical electronics repair skills, take on increasing responsibilities, and grow within an expanding repair operation. Responsibilities Assist the lead technician with electronic circuit board repairs and other technical tasks. Perform basic soldering, component replacement, and circuit board rework as training and experience allow. Use microscopes and precision tools to inspect and handle small electronic components. Assist with diagnosing and repairing circuit boards by following established procedures and instructions. Test, inspect, and prepare repaired electronics for shipment. Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently. Keep the work area clean, organized, and properly stocked. Help manage incoming customer modules, outgoing shipments, and daily repair workflow. Follow quality-control procedures to ensure repairs and orders meet company standards. Take initiative to identify tasks that need attention and help keep operations moving. Adapt to changing priorities and assist with other daily tasks as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination. Good eyesight and the ability to inspect small components under a microscope for extended periods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. Comfortable alternating between desk-based precision work and standing, walking, and moving between workstations throughout the day. Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, and move as needed to complete daily tasks. Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions and established procedures. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to accept feedback and correction professionally and apply it to improve performance. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of staying productive without constant supervision. Basic computer skills and the ability to process orders and shipping information. Respectful communication and the ability to work well with others. Preferred Qualifications Experience with soldering, circuit board repair, electronics assembly, or small-component rework. Familiarity with multimeters, electronic testing equipment, or microscopes. Background in electronics, electrical technology, mechatronics, or a related technical field. Engineering education or experience is a plus, but an engineering degree is not required. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who brings a positive, respectful, and proactive attitude to work every day. The right person is a self-starter who looks for ways to contribute, takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, and takes pride in producing quality work. You should be eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and willing to accept correction without becoming defensive. We value people who learn from mistakes, apply feedback, and continually improve their skills and efficiency. Because this is a fast-paced operation, we need someone who can balance careful, precise work with productivity and understand the importance of keeping orders moving. You should be able to recognize what needs to be done, take initiative, and remain focused without needing constant direction. A strong work ethic, a respectful attitude, dependability, and a willingness to learn are more important than extensive prior experience. We want someone who is committed to doing quality work, supporting the team, and growing professionally. Career Growth and Advancement This position has significant room for growth for the right employee. As the business expands, there may be opportunities to advance into a Lead Technician or supervisory position , with increased responsibility for repair operations, workflow, quality control, and training other technicians. We are particularly interested in finding someone who demonstrates long-term commitment, loyalty, reliability, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility. The ideal candidate wants to grow with the business, develop advanced technical skills, and earn greater responsibility through consistent performance. Advancement will be based on demonstrated ability, work ethic, technical progress, leadership, and the ability to work independently and help others succeed. We want to invest in people who take pride in their work and show the potential to become trusted members of the team. Work Environment This is an active, hands-on position that combines precision electronics work with order fulfillment and shipping. Much of the repair work involves sitting at a workstation and using a microscope to inspect small components. Other responsibilities require standing, walking, packing orders, and frequently moving between workstations. The work requires sustained concentration, good eyesight, steady hand-eye coordination, and the ability to maintain accuracy while working at a consistent pace. Compensation Hourly pay ranges from $17-$25 per hour , depending on experience, technical ability, and qualifications. Candidates with limited experience but strong potential are encouraged to apply. Opportunities for increased pay and advancement will depend on skill development, performance, and increasing responsibilities. If you are dependable, eager to learn, take pride in your work, and want the opportunity to grow into a more advanced technical or leadership role, we encourage you to apply.
