Experienced Property Maintenance & Repair Specialist We are looking for a highly experienced, all-around maintenance and repair person to become our go-to person for a large commercial storage property and a growing portfolio of rental homes. This is not a basic maintenance or apartment make-ready position. We are looking for the person who has spent years learning how to fix, build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain just about anything. Our operation currently includes a 15-acre commercial storage facility and multiple rental homes , with plans to take on additional rental properties. We want someone who can grow with us and become the person we rely on for day-to-day maintenance as well as larger repair and renovation projects. What you'll work on No two days will necessarily look the same.

Work may include:

Troubleshooting electrical problems and making appropriate repairs Plumbing repairs, fixture replacement, toilets, faucets, disposals, leaks, etc. Carpentry, framing, trim, doors, cabinets, and wood repairs Drywall repair, texture, and painting Flooring installation and repairs Fence and gate construction and repair Welding and metal fabrication Automatic gate troubleshooting Storage unit doors, tracks, springs, latches, and hardware Roofing and leak repairs Concrete and masonry repairs Minor HVAC troubleshooting and repairs within your skill level Appliance troubleshooting and installation Light mechanical and equipment repair Exterior and interior property repairs Rental-home make-readies and turnovers Punch lists after tenants move out Preventive maintenance and property inspections Identifying problems before they turn into expensive repairs Larger renovation and improvement projects Coordinating with specialty or licensed contractors when a job requires one We're looking for a problem solver, not just a maintenance worker. The person we're looking for can walk into a rental house with a list of ten problems and knock out most of that list without us scheduling a plumber, carpenter, painter, flooring installer, appliance person, and handyman separately. At the storage property, you should be able to look at a broken gate, damaged fence, door problem, leak, electrical issue, or something we've never seen before and say: "Let me see what's going on." You don't have to know everything. Nobody does. What we're looking for is someone with enough experience to diagnose problems, figure things out, know what they can safely repair themselves, and recognize when a specialized or licensed contractor is actually needed. The right person Your background could be construction, remodeling, industrial or facilities maintenance, property maintenance, welding, electrical, plumbing, mechanical work, farming/ranching, or a combination of several trades. We're much more interested in what you can actually do than what your previous job title was.
