About the Role As an Industrial Automation Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital technical resource responsible for the operational integrity of complex material handling and robotic systems. Your expertise in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults will directly contribute to maximizing equipment uptime and ensuring seamless production workflows. Responsibilities Execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and peak performance of automated conveyor and robotic assets. Analyze and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools to restore system functionality rapidly. Drive operational efficiency by identifying potential failure points before they impact production throughput. Maintain comprehensive logs of all technical interventions and system modifications to support long-term reliability. Implement safety protocols and rigorous inspections to foster a secure and compliant industrial environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system improvements and adopt emerging automation technologies. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent with a strong mechanical aptitude. Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial conveyor or robotic systems. Solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical system integration. Proven ability to perform detailed technical documentation and record-keeping. Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause identification. Preferred Skills Technical degree or specialized certification in automation, mechatronics, or a related field. Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming or troubleshooting. Prior experience working within high-speed manufacturing or distribution environments.
