Job Description

Pay:
$20-$22 (Depending on Experience)
Shift:
7am-3pm
Monday-Friday Job Summary:
Designs, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Discusses layout and assembly problems with Engineers and draws sketches to clarify design details. Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype model. Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Sets up standard test apparatus to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype. Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance. Writes technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe system's operating characteristics. Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions. Maintain laboratory equipment is in working order.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required Associate's degree in electronic technology preferred
Experience:
Must be able to read blueprints and use schematics Must be able to use digital multimeters (DMMS), oscilloscopes, volt-ohm meter, and soldering equipment May be required to use various hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, screw drivers, etc.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift up to 40 lbs. May be required to sit for 3-4-hour intervals
