Job Description
Lavissh Inn & Suites in Bellingham is seeking an organized, detail oriented maintenance person to help keep our motel operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining property equipment and supply inventory while performing routine maintenance throughout the motel. These tasks will include but are not limited to: Maintaining the interior/exterior of motel. Perform minor installation, alteration, repair and maintenance of building and equipment. Carry out preventive maintenance. Report major repair needs to management.
Qualifications:
- at least 1 year of related general repair experience
- must have basic working knowledge of plumbing, systems and/or other repair skills.
- must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
- must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist the majority of the day.
- must display very good organizational and time management skills.
- must be able to speak, read, write English
- must be willing to work weekends.
