Our client is an established technical sales and solutions provider supporting industrial customers throughout the region. They specialize in process instrumentation, automation, controls, and related equipment used across a variety of industrial applications. Their team works closely with customers to understand their applications, identify the right products and solutions, and provide ongoing technical support throughout the sales and ordering process. They're looking for someone who combines technical aptitude with strong customer service and communication skills and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Technical Inside Sales Representative, you'll work directly with customers, outside sales representatives, and internal teams to help identify and deliver the right solutions for a variety of industrial applications. You'll be responsible for: Providing technical, application, and product support to customers and sales representatives Helping customers identify products and solutions based on their specific application needs Providing pricing, availability, and delivery information Reviewing incoming orders for proper product selection and application Supporting Outside Sales with lead qualification and follow-up Reviewing technical documents, bid specifications, and project requirements Assisting with quotes, proposals, and project bids Responding to technical and product-related questions from customers and sales representatives Communicating clearly with customers throughout the quoting and ordering process Troubleshooting issues and identifying practical solutions Working independently while collaborating with the broader sales and technical team Bringing forward ideas that can improve processes and the overall customer experience

WHAT YOU NEED
Technical education in instrumentation, automation, controls, or a related field OR equivalent hands-on industry experience Experience working with technical or industrial products Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications Comfortable working with pricing, quotes, orders, and detailed product information Strong written communication, grammar, spelling, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
PREFERRED
Experience with process instrumentation, industrial automation, or process controls Knowledge of flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical instrumentation, valves, or similar industrial products Previous technical inside sales, applications, technical customer service, or sales support experience Experience supporting Outside Sales representatives Experience reviewing RFQs, bid specifications, or technical project requirements Background with an industrial distributor, manufacturer's representative, controls integrator, or automation company
