Job Description

Geneva Auto Sales is hiring an experienced Automotive Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician for our brand-new, climate-controlled repair facility. We specialize in reconditioning late-model, low-mileage cars and SUVs with minor insurance-claim damage, allowing our customers to save thousands of dollars on their next vehicle. As we expand into our new facility on our way to becoming the highest-volume rebuilder dealership in Wisconsin, we are looking for a skilled technician to handle mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and light body assembly on the vehicles we produce.
Why You'll Love Working Here:
Brand-New, Air-Conditioned Facility:
Work in a spotless, organized, climate-controlled shop with excellent lighting, in-ground lifts, and brand-new equipment.
No Rusty Junk & No Trucks:
We only work on newer, low-mileage cars and SUVs. You will never have to fight seized, rusted-out bolts on neglected vehicles where everything breaks the second you touch it.
Streamlined Efficiency:
We focus on a select group of vehicle models, meaning you get to master the platforms you work on rather than dealing with random headaches every day.
Latest OEM-Level Tech:
We continually invest in top-tier diagnostic scan tools, programming interfaces, and calibration equipment.
No Customer Service Headaches:
Because you are reconditioning our own inventory rather than working on retail walk-ins, you don't have to waste time writing up quotes for indecisive customers or waiting around for repair approvals.
What You'll Do:
Perform mechanical repairs and system diagnostics on late-model cars and SUVs using advanced diagnostic and calibration equipment. Diagnose and repair powertrains, electrical systems, suspension components, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Handle occasional light body reassembly, such as installing replacement bumpers, lights, and exterior panels. Perform comprehensive post-repair inspections to ensure every vehicle meets strict safety and quality standards before hitting the lot.
What We're Looking For:
Proven hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Comfortable working with modern vehicle electronics, scan tools, and ADAS systems. Prior experience with light collision reassembly or body panel fitment is a big plus, though not required. Self-motivated team player who takes pride in clean, accurate work. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Schedule:
Competitive hourly/base pay tailored to your experience and diagnostic capability, plus performance incentives. Steady, year-round indoor work in a premier shop environment.
Pay:
From $35.00 per hour
Work Location:
In person
