About us ATek Automation has been building custom CNC machine controllers for machine manufacturers since 2012. We also do CNC machine retrofits and develop Steel Solutions, our software for DSTV editing and nesting. ATek LaserWorks, our laser division, sells fiber laser machines. We're a small team based in Benton, Arkansas, where our controllers, panels, and software are designed and built. Job Description Design the electrical systems for our plasma cutting machines — schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs Build and wire control panels: component layout, selection, assembly, and point-to-point wiring Handle the electrical side of our machine controllers — motion control, I/O, drives, and integration with the plasma power supply and torch height control Commission and troubleshoot machines in-house and support techs and customers in the field Keep documentation clean and current so the shop can build repeatably Work day-to-day with our mechanical and software department on new products and improvements What we're looking for BSEE preferred; an associate degree or equivalent hands-on industrial electrical experience will also be considered Experience designing or building industrial control panels Comfortable reading and creating electrical schematics Working knowledge of 480V / 240V three-phase power, motor control, and machine safety circuits Strong, methodical troubleshooting skills Benefits 401(k)
