Job Description
Job Summary Seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support testing facilities, hydrogen/fuel cell systems, and lab operations at Toyota's R&D facility in Gardena, CA. The role involves facility maintenance, troubleshooting high-voltage and high-pressure systems, inventory management, equipment commissioning, safety compliance, and supporting engineering teams in a fast-paced research environment. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations of the R&D evaluation building and testing facilities. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydrogen stations, fuel cell benches, and other test equipment. Work on high-voltage and high-pressure systems . Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and laboratory equipment. Manage parts, consumables, and inventory. Assist with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) activities and maintain safety compliance. Support vendors, visitors, and site improvement projects. Prepare daily, weekly, and technical reports. Travel up to 30% and work occasional overtime as needed. Top 5 Must-Have Requirements 4+ years of experience as a Power Plant Technician, Generator Technician, or similar industrial maintenance role. Hands-on experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems . Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems , HVAC, generators, and transfer switches. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals . Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial/facility equipment independently. NIT01
