Employment Type:
4-month contract Pay range: $30-39 / hour Company Overview Our client is a global leader in medical technology that researches, designs, and manufactures healthcare devices. Position Overview Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer I to join our client's engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of our products within a regulated environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, debug, and execute test plans, while leveraging modern AI tools to streamline workflows, optimize test scripts, and enhance technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities Test Design & Execution:
Participate in the design, development, debugging, and execution of software and system test practices to verify product performance and requirements.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance:
Apply knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (AAMI, ISO, FDA, EN) to ensure test procedures, reporting, and documentation meet strict quality and industry guidelines.
AI Tool Integration:
Utilize cutting-edge AI tools to improve daily work efficiency—including writing and debugging test scripts, analyzing code/requirement changes, and streamlining test documentation and reporting tasks.
Defect Tracking & Analysis:
Identify, log, and analyze software/system defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Documentation:
Maintain clear, compliant, and detailed test plans, test cases, execution reports, and traceability matrices.
Required Knowledge & Qualifications Education:
Baccalaureate degree (or, for degrees earned outside the U.S., an equivalent degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)).
Experience:
0+ years of relevant experience (Entry Level).
Core Skills:
Knowledge of applicable AAMI, ISO, FDA, and EN standards or relevant academic/internship experience in a regulated environment. Working knowledge of software design, development, debugging, and testing practices . Hands-on experience or familiarity utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency (e.g., writing/debugging test scripts, analyzing requirement changes, and accelerating documentation). Preferred Qualifications Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment. #IND3
