Job Description Our Industrial Business Unit is a strong design-builder that delivers water, facilities, and environmental projects to address client challenges in the most promising markets. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of complex substation and industrial projects that ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of power systems. This is a hybrid role and can be based out of one of CDM Smith's offices, offering both flexibility and the chance to work closely with top engineering talent across the firm. + Create basic to moderately complex designs of electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, sustainability/renewable energy systems, and other similar electrical systems with collaborative support. + Conduct studies and electrical calculations for power systems, lighting simulations, lighting layouts, communications, fire alarm systems, security systems, and similar technical areas. + Develop white papers and technical documentation to support the firm's technical knowledge management ( TKM ) and conduct site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
