Design, program, integrate, and support control systems for automated industrial machinery using PLC, HMI, electrical design, and industrial networking technologies. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience in industrial automation. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Rockwell PLC 500 or 5000 platforms. Experience with FactoryTalk View. Experience with Beckhoff control systems and TwinCAT software. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical. Experience developing electrical drawings and control panel schematics. Experience with control panel wiring and electrical troubleshooting. Experience configuring industrial communication networks, including Ethernet, Modbus, and DeviceNet. Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. Knowledge of UL, CSA, and CE machinery/electrical standards. Ability to travel to customer sites for equipment installation, startup, and commissioning. Preferred Skills Experience with Wonderware applications. Experience tuning proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control algorithms. Experience with analog control interfaces and instrumentation. Job Responsibilities Design electrical control systems for specialized automated industrial machinery. Develop electrical drawings, control panel schematics, and related technical documentation. Program PLC-based automation systems. Develop and configure HMI applications for automated equipment. Integrate sensors, actuators, drives, and other input/output devices. Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks. Develop and tune control algorithms for analog interfaces. Perform control panel wiring, equipment troubleshooting, and system diagnostics. Apply NEC requirements and UL, CSA, and CE standards to machinery designs. Support equipment assembly and integration on the production floor. Perform onsite equipment installation, startup, testing, and commissioning.
Pay:
