Our client, a leader in industrial automation and material handling solutions, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer I to join their team. As a Senior Controls Engineer I, you will be part of the Controls Department supporting project development and system integration teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

$120,000 - $135,000 What's the Job? Designs control systems for industrial material handling solutions, including concept development and specification creation. Leads large projects or multiple smaller projects, providing guidance and training to less experienced team members. Develops and implements PLC programs, ensuring integration with HMI and SCADA systems. Prepares detailed schematics, device layouts, and control panel specifications using AutoCAD Electrical. Conducts prototype development, testing, and on-site beta testing to verify safety, reliability, and performance standards. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and control systems. Proficiency with Allen-Bradley controls/controllers and Schneider PLCs. Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software. Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively in English. What's in it for me?
