Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity I'm working with an established manufacturer looking to add a hands-on Controls Engineer to its engineering and maintenance team. The site is investing in automation, controls and equipment upgrades, and you'll play a key role in both supporting the existing operation and delivering future improvements. This isn't a desk-based controls role. You'll be on the plant floor troubleshooting equipment, supporting maintenance and production, and taking ownership of controls issues through to resolution. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, I/O, motor controls and industrial networks Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC systems Support automated production and packaging equipment Diagnose electrical and controls failures and perform root-cause analysis Develop and improve plant controls standards and documentation Support controls upgrades, equipment installations and commissioning Work with OEMs, contractors and system integrators on automation projects Provide technical support and controls training to maintenance technicians What We're Looking For Controls, Electrical, Automation or Instrumentation Engineering background Strong Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting experience RSLogix / Studio 5000 experience HMI, VFD, motor controls and instrumentation experience Industrial networking and I/O troubleshooting knowledge Comfortable working with 24VDC through 480V industrial electrical systems Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings Proven hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment Food, beverage, CPG or high-speed manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
