Lead Controls Engineer Mount Clemens, MI Up to $50/hr

You'll take a leading role within the controls function, supporting projects through build and testing while coordinating technical teams, solving engineering problems and helping improve the way projects are delivered. In this role, you will: Take a lead role in the electrical and controls side of complex automation projects. Coordinate technical personnel and work closely with engineering and project teams. Review electrical designs, drawings and controls hardware to ensure projects are delivered correctly and on schedule. Troubleshoot controls and electrical issues throughout the build and testing process. Help develop processes, improve standards and influence how the controls function grows. Up to $50/hr (Realist OTE $155-165K) + benefits + 401(k) + progression opportunities. To be considered, you must: Have 5+ years of controls, automation or electrical engineering experience. Have experience with PLCs, HMIs, motion control and automated machinery. Be confident reading and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic schematics. Have experience leading or coordinating engineers, electricians or other technical personnel. Be comfortable taking ownership of technically challenging automation projects.
