JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Electrical Inspector to ensure the safety, compliance, and quality of electrical patient care-related equipment within our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of inspections, preventative maintenance testing, documentation and compliance monitoring of electrical equipment and appliances in accordance with applicable federal, state and local requirements, regulations, and laws. Work closely with operations, clinical, and plant management. This position helps maintain a safe environment while supporting successful regulatory surveys. DUTIES Perform electrical safety testing and maintenance of all patent care-related electrical equipment (PCREE) across multiple facilities Test patient care electrical equipment in accordance with applicable requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and company policy. Verify proper operation of designated electrical equipment, devices, and appliances. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance testing as required by regulatory standards. Assist facilities with preparation for CMS Life Safety Code surveys and state inspections. Monitor compliance with NFPA 99
Health Care Facilities Code, NFPA 101
Life Safety Code, NEC Article 517
Health Care Facilities, CMS Life Safety Code requirements, and applicable state electrical codes. Support emergency power system testing and documentation. Provide guidance to staff regarding healthcare electrical safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS AA
degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered. Minimum 2-5 years of commercial or healthcare electrical experience. Experience working within hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or other healthcare environments preferred . Experience performing electrical inspections and preventative maintenance Experience supportng regulatory surveys, preferred NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Training
NFPA 101
Life Safety Code Training CLSS
HC certification or eligibility for certification State Electrical Inspector Certification, preferred Able to travel between facilities Possess the ability to make decisions when circumstances warrant such action Able to successfully pass background and drug screen Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
