Job Description

Job Overview:

The Controls Engineer at Glenro is a key player in the successful implementation of projects requiring expertise in control systems and automation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing control systems, and ensuring seamless integration with overall project objectives.

Organizational Structure:

Reports to: Electrical Engineering Manager
Collaborates with:

Electrical Engineering Team, Mechanical Engineering Team, Project Engineers Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Controls Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering-focused environment.
Strong knowledge of control systems, automation, and PLC programming.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for control system design.
Familiarity with HMI design and integration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design and implement control systems for machinery and processes.
Develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces for control and monitoring.
Ensure seamless integration of control systems with overall project designs.
Collaborate with the electrical engineering team to ensure electrical designs align with control system requirements.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to identify and resolve issues.
Provide technical support during project commissioning and startup.
Stay updated on advancements in control system technologies and automation.
Contribute to the development and improvement of control system design standards.
Collaborate with the project manager to ensure control systems meet project timelines and budgets. KPIs

Adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Effectiveness in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Continuous improvement initiatives in control system design.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
