Job Description

Job Overview:
The Controls Engineer at Glenro is a key player in the successful implementation of projects requiring expertise in control systems and automation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing control systems, and ensuring seamless integration with overall project objectives.
Organizational Structure:
  • Reports to: Electrical Engineering Manager
  • Collaborates with:
Electrical Engineering Team, Mechanical Engineering Team, Project Engineers Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Controls Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, automation, and PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for control system design.
  • Familiarity with HMI design and integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Design and implement control systems for machinery and processes.
  • Develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces for control and monitoring.
  • Ensure seamless integration of control systems with overall project designs.
  • Collaborate with the electrical engineering team to ensure electrical designs align with control system requirements.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support during project commissioning and startup.
  • Stay updated on advancements in control system technologies and automation.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of control system design standards.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure control systems meet project timelines and budgets. KPIs

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
