Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in an engineering management role, preferably in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, specifically related to tanks and pressure vessels. AMSE Certification is a plus. Experience with packaged water heaters and unfired steam clean generators is highly desirable. Strong understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, piping, fluid flow and related systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide engineers. Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the development and manufacturing of high-quality mechanical products, including tanks and pressure vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in managing engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, API standards, and structural design principles, with the ability to manage engineering projects from concept through manufacturing and installation. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, code-compliant, and cost-effective designs that meet customer requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure successful project execution and product development. Lead and manage a team of mechanical and design engineers responsible for pressure vessel and storage tank projects. Oversee the design and manufacturing processes for tanks, pressure vessels, and packaged water heaters. Perform and review engineering calculations, including: Pressure vessel thickness calculations, External pressure and vacuum design, Structural support and foundation loading, Thermal expansion and stress analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) when required. Design and review pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and fabricated steel structures in accordance with a few of the following; ASME Section

620, and other applicable industry standards. Provide technical leadership for heat transfer, piping, fluid systems, and related mechanical components associated with boilers, water heaters, steam generators, heat exchangers, and other process equipment. Oversee the creation and review of fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing documentation. Evaluate engineering risks and provide practical solutions to fabrication and field installation challenges. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, standardization, and design. Mentor and develop engineering staff while promoting technical excellence and collaboration. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the engineering processes. Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet organizational goals and customer needs.
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
