TITLE:

Electrical Engineer

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To support the plant operations through design, build, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all electrical systems throughout the plant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum B.S degree in Electrical Engineering

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good administrative abilities

Proficient in computer and software applications

Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary

Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems, including but not limited to temperature controls, AC/DC variable speed drives, PLCs, HMIs, computers, motor control centers, tension controls, and power systems.

Recommend, coordinate, and manage all aspects of improvement projects throughout the plant, including project cost controls.

Understand and implement designs from technical drawings and documentation.

Interact and evaluate contractor/vendor quotations using verbal and written communication.

Analyze product failure data in order to determine causes of problems, and develop solutions.

Gather, review, and analyze data to generate reports for management.

Test and repair electrical/electronic devices.

Develop and conduct training for installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.

Supervise and support technicians and production personnel as needed.

Train electrical technicians in all aspects of maintenance responsibilities.

Ensure all work within the plant adheres to NEC standards.

Be available for emergency call out and on-call rotation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION

Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions not necessarily temperature conditions.

Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.

Subject to extreme cold, temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.

Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
