CLH Architects Engineers is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to design power, lighting, low-voltage, and life-safety systems for K-12, municipal, and community projects. In this multidisciplinary A/E environment, you will lead electrical design, perform load calculations, and develop construction documents that prioritize sustainability, safety, and functionality. You'll collaborate closely with architects, civil engineers, and landscape architects, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor junior staff while advancing innovative, community-focused design solutions. Responsibilities Lead electrical design for K-12, municipal, and community facilities Prepare power, lighting, low-voltage, and life-safety system layouts and calculations Coordinate designs with architects, civil engineers, and landscape architects Review codes, standards, and client requirements to ensure compliance and safety Produce construction documents, specifications, and technical reports Support sustainable and energy-efficient design strategies Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to clarify scope and resolve issues Required Skills Electrical power distribution design Lighting design and photometric analysis Low-voltage and fire alarm systems National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance Short-circuit and load calculations Construction documents and specifications Revit and/or Auto CAD for electrical design Coordination in multidisciplinary A/E projects Sustainable and energy-efficient design Field investigation and construction administration
