This position combines technical leadership, project delivery, team coordination, and client relationship management. The selected candidate will work closely with our local U.S. team and our engineering team in Egypt to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with Burman Engineering's quality standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities:

Lead electrical engineering projects from planning and design through final delivery Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and technical deliverables Coordinate work between the Seattle office and the engineering team in Egypt Review electrical designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical submissions Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. codes, standards, and client requirements Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact Obtain and address client feedback regarding project quality and delivery performance Identify project risks and resolve technical, scheduling, and coordination issues Mentor engineers and support the development of consistent design and quality-control procedures Support business development, proposal preparation, and the growth of Burman Engineering's client base Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a master's degree is a plus Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State, or the ability to obtain it, is strongly preferred Minimum 10 years of electrical design and project-delivery experience Proven experience managing engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, energy codes, and other applicable U.S. standards Experience with commercial, institutional, industrial, mission-critical, or federal projects is preferred Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, electrical analysis software, and BIM coordination Excellent client-management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to coordinate effectively with international teams and across different time zones Existing client relationships or the ability to bring new business opportunities will be considered a significant advantage
