VDC/BIM Specialist As a VDC/BIM Specialist at Torgeson Electric, you'll use virtual modeling to support advanced electrical system design: coordinating models, preparing shop drawings, and supporting job layout using 3D model data. What you'll do Attend and assist in model coordination meetings, documenting preconstruction/VDC meetings and compiling meeting minutes Coordinate models with internal and subcontractor detailers and modelers Help process shop/fabrication-level models for approval and prepare shop drawings from the model for field use Participate in job layout driven by 3D model data Maintain a log of updated as-builts and revised Building Information Models PaySchedule Competitive pay, based on experience 40+ hours/week Travel allowance and lodging provided when travel is required What we're looking for Previous CAD/Revit experience required Basic electrical knowledge (familiarity with electrical systems and terminology is a plus) Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks Excellent verbal and written communication, including working professionally with a variety of stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management software Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Benefits Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with employer match, plus Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Health and dental insurance Torgeson Electric Company is an equal opportunity employer.
