We design and build hydraulic presses for various industries ranging in size from 5 to 3000 tons. Help us create custom hydraulic industrial equipment used across multiple industries. As part of the team at Greenerd you will develop full controls packages. Taking a project from conceptual designs with the customer through programming, commissioning, and installation.
Required Skills:
- Deep experience with PLC, HMI, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalkView Studio
- Knowledgeable in various styles of controller programming, Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text.
- Troubleshooting of complex industrial systems.
- Analyze equipment specifications and work with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions.
- Administrative tasks like managing bills of materials, new component evaluation, and preparation of manuals.
- Preparation of detailed drawings and schematics
Beneficial Skills:
- Experience with other programming languages as they relate to industrial equipment communication and data capture: C#, SQL, Python, VBA
- Experience with most Allen Bradley platforms : Micrologix, Compact Logix, Control Logix, Kinetix & PowerFlex Drives.
- Robotic systems, integration of FANUC systems into our systems.
- Use of imaging systems for quality and process data feedback
- Familiarity with a wide variety of sensor types, laser ranging, thermocouple, pressure, SSI linear transducers, proximity, encoders.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA79, UL 508
