Duties Design and develop electronic circuits, systems, and components utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Create detailed electrical schematics and PCB layouts for manufacturing using industry-standard tools. Develop FPGA-based solutions and implement system verification using simulation tools like Simulink and SystemVerilog. Conduct root cause analysis on electronic failures and troubleshoot complex issues across electrical systems. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate control systems, communication systems, and automation solutions. Perform engineering testing, validation, and debugging using oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and other measurement instruments. Ensure all designs comply with electrical building codes (NEC), NFPA 70 standards, and safety regulations related to electrical engineering. Skills Extensive experience with FPGA development, circuit design, and PCB layout design. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Perl, MATLAB, and scripting for automation purposes. Strong knowledge of electrical system design principles including control systems, signal processing, and industrial automation. Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks for mechanical integration. Hands-on experience with soldering techniques (including surface mount technology) and firmware development for embedded systems like ARM-based microcontrollers (Arduino). Expertise in electronics design for manufacturing environments with a focus on quality standards such as NEC compliance and NFPA 70 regulations. Ability to perform system development verification through simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink and debugging hardware/software issues efficiently.
