Approximately 40-60% Are you an experienced Field Service leader who knows how to manage a team, solve technical problems, and keep customers happy? We're looking for a Field Service Manager to lead a service organization supporting sophisticated industrial equipment. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands automated machinery and enjoys working with technicians, customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and support Field Service Technicians Manage service scheduling, technician deployment, and project priorities Oversee equipment installations, commissioning, startups, troubleshooting, upgrades, and retrofit projects Serve as the escalation point for complex customer and equipment issues Provide technical guidance involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC, and controls systems Ensure service projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to customer expectations Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve equipment issues Develop and maintain strong customer relationships Review field service reports and ensure corrective actions are completed Support service quotations, estimates, and pricing Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement Develop technicians through coaching, training, and accountability What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in field service, technical service management, industrial automation, packaging equipment, or a related manufacturing environment Previous experience managing service technicians, scheduling, and customer support activities Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial automation systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Excellent customer-facing communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Comfortable traveling approximately 40-60% Nice to Have Experience with packaging, bakery, food processing, or automated manufacturing equipment Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and industrial controls Experience managing service budgets, KPIs, or performance metrics Technical degree, engineering background, or equivalent industry experience This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people but still wants to stay close to the technical side of field service and customer support.
