The Role As a Magnetics Engineer at AION, you will: Design programmable electropermanent magnet systems for our next-generation low-field MRI platforms Develop magnetic circuits, array geometries, switching coils, and drive architectures Model nonlinear magnetic materials and complete magnet systems using analytical and finite-element methods Develop computational optimization methods for programmable field strength and spatial field geometry Design fast, repeatable field transitions for field-cycling MRI and relaxometry Integrate magnetic sensing, calibration, power electronics, and control into closed-loop field programming Work directly with MRI, mechanical, electrical, and computational engineers from simulation through physical prototypes You We value mission alignment, integrity, and ambition over pedigree.
