$50.68 per hour. Role Overview This position focuses on the creation of electrical systems for compact utility tractors and riding lawn mowers. You will work onsite from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, engaging with program management, quality assurance, supply management, and PV&V departments to drive the product development lifecycle forward. Core Responsibilities Partner with cross-functional groups to define and establish electrical hardware and software requirements. Oversee the development and release of vehicle electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, within the production environment. Organize and maintain comprehensive bills of material for vehicle electrical systems. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure component integration, feasibility, and development. Support the team by providing technical build assistance during various phases of the product development cycle. Required Qualifications Three years of professional experience in the integration, design, or testing of vehicle electrical systems. A Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field. Proven ability to design, develop, or test schematics, wiring harnesses, and electrical components while maintaining a strong grasp of hardware-software interaction. Demonstrated success in managing and taking ownership of specific project deliverables. Familiarity with standard product development lifecycles. Self-driven professional with strong time management capabilities. Ability to provide clear and concise communication in both verbal and written formats. Flexibility to work outside of standard hours to assist with production builds when necessary. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time. Desired Skills Experience working on off-highway or agricultural vehicle development. Proficiency in creating and managing bills of material for test equipment or vehicle systems. Background in embedded product validation, such as HiL or SIL test stands, or writing test scripts. Experience utilizing 3D CAD software to design electrical systems and wiring harnesses. Background in project management. Experience mentoring and training peers or new team members. Experience overseeing design and testing tasks performed by remote team members. Advanced education or training in additional engineering fields. Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies. Compensation and Benefits The standard base pay for this position is $50.68 per hour. Non-exempt staff are eligible for overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate for hours exceeding 40 per week, subject to local or state regulations. Final salary offers are based on individual experience, education, and skill sets.
