Job Description

About the
Position:
Aztec Solar is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Residential PV Service Coordinator to join our service team. This position is responsible for coordinating residential solar service requests from the initial customer call through completion. You will work closely with homeowners, field technicians, manufacturers, monitoring providers, utilities, and internal teams to make sure service issues are handled efficiently and customers are kept informed.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for residential solar service customers. Receive, document, and manage incoming service requests. Communicate with homeowners by phone, email, and text regarding system issues and service appointments. Gather detailed information about PV system problems before dispatching a technician. Review system monitoring information and service history when applicable. Create and maintain accurate service work orders. Schedule residential service appointments and coordinate technician availability. Communicate appointment times and arrival windows to homeowners. Provide technicians with customer information, system history, photos, monitoring data, and other relevant details before service visits. Track open service requests from scheduling through completion. Follow up with customers after service appointments when needed. Coordinate return visits when additional troubleshooting, repairs, or parts are required. Assist with identifying and coordinating warrantyrelated repairs. Coordinate replacement equipment and parts with technicians, vendors, and manufacturers. Communicate with solar equipment manufacturers and monitoring providers regarding system issues. Assist customers with basic questions regarding system monitoring and production. Review technician notes and ensure service documentation is complete. Maintain accurate customer and system information in company software. Help identify recurring service issues and opportunities to improve the customer experience. Perform other service and administrative duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Customer service experience with a strong focus on communication and followthrough. Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills. Ability to manage multiple customers and service requests simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Professional and friendly phone presence. Comfortable communicating with homeowners who may be frustrated or concerned about their solar system. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly. Ability to work effectively with field technicians and office staff. Dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of customer issues. Interest in learning residential solar PV systems and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous residential solar experience. PV service or operations experience. Experience with solar monitoring platforms. Experience with CRM or servicemanagement software. Dispatch or technician scheduling experience. Electrical, construction, HVAC, roofing, or other homeservice industry experience. Experience working with solar manufacturers or equipment warranties. Solar panels and inverters Batteries and energy storage Solar monitoring systems Production and performance issues System alerts and error codes Electrical terminology Utilityrelated solar issues Warranty and service processes

Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday 7am-3:30 Occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on customer and service department needs.
