QCAP also serves households in surrounding Norfolk County, South Shore, and Metro Boston communities. Our mission is through partnerships, community engagement, and advocacy for racial, social, and economic justice, we provide pathways to assist families and individuals from diverse backgrounds in their efforts to realize economic opportunity and create meaningful connections to improve the quality of their lives. To achieve our mission, we provide a wide range of programs for low- and moderate-income residents, including Adult Education & Workforce Development, Financial REACH Center, Head Start Early Childhood Education & Care, Child Care Vouchers, Energy Programs, Food & Nutrition Programs, and Housing Programs.
Position Overview:
Provide administrative and program support including client and contractor communications, data entry, scheduling and file organization for the Energy Conservation and Efficiency services program for low-income residents. Serve as clients' first line of contact within the Energy Efficiency team and respond to phone or in-person requests for assistance and/or information. Position Responsibilities (not all inclusive): Screen and return client and vendor phone calls and emails throughout the day. Meet with clients as needed in office. Use agency intake and referral process for directing clients to additional services. Coordinate with the Fuel Assistance program to ensure eligible clients are being referred to appropriate conservation services. Screen applicants for energy conservation services. Schedule energy audits, inspections, and Appliance Management visits for QCAP's Energy Auditors and other program contractors. Assist with tracking projects to assure production goals are met or exceeded. Authorize mechanical, no heat repairs. Perform data entry of payment information for contractor payments to ensure timely and accurate payment of installed measures. Create contractor payment check requests. Perform data entry into web-based project management systems and databases to ensure accurate and timely reporting to all funders. Create and maintain client files based on program guidelines. Create and maintain contractor files, including insurance and licenses. Work with QCAP fiscal staff on check processing and reconciliation as needed. Assist the Program Director with vendor authorization notifications of heating system replacements and repairs. Assist the Program Director with requesting funding and approval from funding sources. Assist the Program Director with managing annual CTE Program. All other duties deemed necessary by the Program Director.
