Job Description

ABOUT ASE
  • Aeronautical Systems Engineering (ASE) designs and manufactures advanced flight simulation and training systems for commercial and military customers.
  • ASE delivers high-fidelity simulation solutions supporting training, certification, and operational readiness.
POSITION OVERVIEW
  • The Flight Dynamics Engineer is an entry to intermediate level engineering role responsible for supporting the design, development, documentation, and testing of aircraft aerodynamic simulation models and associated simulator systems.
  • This position provides hands-on experience in flight simulation development while working closely with senior engineers in a collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and documentation of flight dynamics software models
  • Support implementation of simulation algorithms using industry-standard design practices
  • Contribute to software development including object-oriented programming and data structures
  • Participate in development of real-time simulation systems and support software
  • Support validation and testing of models and simulator hardware
  • Report progress clearly to engineering leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Working knowledge of flight dynamics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
