Job Description
ABOUT ASE
- Aeronautical Systems Engineering (ASE) designs and manufactures advanced flight simulation and training systems for commercial and military customers.
- ASE delivers high-fidelity simulation solutions supporting training, certification, and operational readiness.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Flight Dynamics Engineer is an entry to intermediate level engineering role responsible for supporting the design, development, documentation, and testing of aircraft aerodynamic simulation models and associated simulator systems.
- This position provides hands-on experience in flight simulation development while working closely with senior engineers in a collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and documentation of flight dynamics software models
- Support implementation of simulation algorithms using industry-standard design practices
- Contribute to software development including object-oriented programming and data structures
- Participate in development of real-time simulation systems and support software
- Support validation and testing of models and simulator hardware
- Report progress clearly to engineering leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Working knowledge of flight dynamics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
