Full Job Description Experience:
Manager Salary:
$130,000•$160,000 per year Job Details•Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction. Support new product introductions by developing robust manufacturing processes and documentation. Evaluate manufacturing workflows and implement process improvements that increase throughput and reduce waste. Manage capital equipment projects including specification, procurement, installation, validation, and startup. Develop manufacturing standards, work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and process documentation. Partner with Quality Engineering to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions. Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis methodologies. Monitor key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, scrap, cycle time, labor efficiency, and capacity utilization. Collaborate with Operations to support production planning and capacity expansion. Ensure compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline. 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. 3+ years of leadership or engineering management experience. Experience supporting high-volume or high-mix manufacturing operations. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Experience with process development, tooling, automation, and manufacturing equipment. Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills. Excellent communication and team development abilities. Nice to Have Experience within aerospace, defense, medical device, electronics, or precision manufacturing. Experience with cable assemblies, connectors, or electromechanical products. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience implementing automation and robotics. Knowledge of
AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC
standards, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with ERP and MRP systems. CAD experience using SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), PFMEA, DOE, and APQP.
