AB_5111923 Quality Manager $100,000 - $130,000 / year (commensurate with experience) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee our Quality Management System (QMS) and quality assurance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our high-precision aerospace manufacturing processes meet stringent customer requirements, regulatory compliance, and industry standards including AS9100 and

ISO 9001.

As a core member of our leadership team, you will drive continuous improvement, lead internal and external audit programs, and foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities QMS Oversight & Compliance:

Maintain, evolve, and enforce the Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 Rev D and

ISO 9001

standards.

Audit Management:

Lead internal quality audits and act as the primary point of contact for customer, third-party certification bodies, and regulatory agency audits (FAA/AS9100).

Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor, and train Quality Control (QC) inspectors, quality engineers, and calibration technicians.

Supplier Quality:

Collaborate with procurement to evaluate, audit, and manage key suppliers and supply chain quality compliance.

Process Improvement:

Utilize Lean / Six Sigma tools to drive continuous process improvements, optimize inspection workflows, and reduce defect rates/scrap. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish, track, and report on key quality metrics (Cost of Quality, Scrap/Rework rates, First Pass Yield) to executive management.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of quality engineering/management experience in the aerospace and defense manufacturing sector.

Standard Expertise:

Deep, hands-on knowledge and working experience with AS9100 and

ISO 9001

quality management systems.

Problem Solving:

Proven expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC).

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with FAA regulations, ITAR compliance, and Customer Special Process approvals.
