Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Northeast Florida Regional President, UF Health, the Assistant Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer, Northeast Florida Region (AVP/CAO-NE) will build and oversee a comprehensive philanthropy program for UF Health Northeast. They will oversee development, grateful patient fundraising, annual giving, stewardship, capital projects, and Children's Miracle Network programs for UF Health's Northeast units, including UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health St. Johns, and UF Health Durbin Park. will serve as the primary point of contact for academic and hospital stakeholders in the Northeast for development-related activity and will collaborate with other members of the Health Sciences Center Development leadership team to foster a culture of philanthropy. They will manage a high-level portfolio of leadership and principal gift prospects, lead the UFHNE Advancement teams, and inspire a culture of high performance, collegiality, and professionalism throughout the organization. A bachelor's degree and 10 years of appropriate experience, or a master's degree and eight years of appropriate experience, along with demonstrated success soliciting gifts at $1 million and above in an institution of higher education, is required for this position.
