McAnany Construction is looking for a Civil Estimator / Project Manager to help grow our civil construction business. We are looking for someone who understands civil construction and enjoys working directly with customers. This role combines business development, estimating, and project management . The right person will help identify opportunities, develop scopes and solutions with clients, estimate the work, and stay involved through construction. This is a good fit for someone who wants to do more than estimate projects that show up in the bid inbox. We want someone who can build relationships, uncover opportunities, and help turn customer needs into projects our field teams can successfully execute. What You'll Do Develop relationships with general contractors, developers, engineers, owners, municipalities, and other clients Identify and pursue new project opportunities Meet with clients and visit sites to understand project needs Help clients develop scopes and practical construction solutions Estimate civil and site development work Perform takeoffs and develop budgets, estimates, and proposals Estimate grading, excavation, storm sewer, utilities, stabilization, concrete, asphalt paving, and related site work Pursue both plan-and-spec projects and negotiated/direct-client work Follow up on estimates, proposals, and potential projects Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify additional opportunities Work closely with our estimating and operations teams Coordinate awarded projects with superintendents and field operations Manage projects from award through completion Maintain communication with clients throughout construction Help resolve scope, scheduling, change, and field coordination issues What We're Looking For We are open to different backgrounds and experience levels. The right person needs a strong understanding of construction, initiative, and the ability to build relationships. Experience in one or more of these areas would be valuable: Civil construction Site development Grading and earthwork Storm sewer and utilities Asphalt paving Concrete Construction estimating Project management Construction sales or business development Field supervision or operations You should be comfortable reading plans, walking a site, talking with a customer about what they need, developing a scope, estimating the work, and working with field leadership to get it built. A construction management or civil engineering degree can be helpful but is not required for someone with strong relevant construction experience. Compensation:

Competitive and based on experience. Salary plus performance bonus.
