Job Description:

Acara Solutions is hiring an Engineering Planner with our client in Wilmington, MA. This role will be responsible for: Plans, schedules, coordinates or monitors final approval of products through the complete Product Development Process (PDP). Coordinates production plans for new products ensuring availability of material to meet project schedules. Manages on-time-delivery goals of products by committed ship date. Works to resolve capacity, material constraints and other potential schedule interruptions. Approves unit quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, as well as receipt and issuance of production material requirements. Manages and implements NPI Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Coordinates with engineering to create and maintain Bill of Material (BOMs) in SAP.

Ideal candidates to bring:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations Management or Finance or Materials Management or Computer Information Sciences. 5+ years of experience in a Purchasing/Planning role within the manufacturing industry. If you or someone in your network is a fit, I'd love to connect.
