In this full-time role as a Solar and BESS Design Coordinator, you will be part of a small close-knit team working for a busy construction company.

The Role:

We are seeking an individual with the following experience to lead design on new utility scale Solar and BESS projects. This individual should be confident, experienced, able to work with a heavy workload under pressure, and multitask on multiple projects at the same time. This position requires working a minimum of 40 hours per week from our Mt. Pleasant, Michigan corporate office. Lead design meetings with the owner, developer, utility provider, engineering team(s), and EPC contractor (JRE) Review Generator Interconnection Agreement (GIA) and communicate requirements effectively across all teams Prepare agendas and track meeting minutes Manage RFI's and submittals related to design Communicate project requirements effectively across all teams Communicate design requirements effectively across all teams Project deliverables include, but are not limited to the following disciplines: Civil Planset Structural Planset Electrical Planset Substation Planset SCADA Planset (PV Array & Substation) MET Station Planset Track accountability on maintaining schedule across all teams Review 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC drawings and provide comments to engineering Work with Inverter, Tracker System, PV Module, BESS Container manufacturers to ensure specific design requirements are being met to best utilize the equipment selections Request design reviews from owner, internal JRE key individuals and organize all comments to present to the owner Schedule design review meetings between all required parties Coordinate with AHJ's on permitting requirements that need to be included in drawings Route all project documentation through

Procore Wage:

This is a full time position. Wage is dependent upon experience with a benefit package that includes medical, paid time off, paid training, company-match 401K, discretionary profit sharing and year-end bonus.
